Mark Goss

 

Mark Goss is a British artist and designer based in Hong Kong. After graduating with a degree in graphic design, Mark moved in a slightly different direction to pursue illustration and his own personal artwork, which is inspired by his own experiences and environment. His work is informed stylistically by various elements born from lowbrow subcultures – tattooing and skate graphics being the most obviously present – along with a history in graffiti. A love for craftsmanship and traditional techniques also has an equally important impact on his work, especially in the signature bold-lined style his chosen images are rendered.

 

After studying graphic design in his native London, Mark Goss began his professional career from Antwerp in Belgium, exhibiting and working on projects there as well as in London, Rotterdam and other European cities, on top of solo exhibitions in Japan and Hong Kong.

Now based in Hong Kong, Goss works as an artist and as a designer for streetwear label CLOT.
