ZeZe Lai

 

Born in Hong Kong, ZeZe Lai studied graphic design and has been working as an art illustrator specializing in greeting cards. She has created more than a thousand artworks that are published and sold worldwide.

 

In recent years, she developed a passion for natural conservation, and her paintings started to focus on wildlife. She seeks to capture the spirit and personality of her subjects in her paintings.

 

Through her work, she hopes to deliver a message of the importance of wildlife conservation. Her efforts have been recognized she was selected as Wildlife Artist of the Year 2014 by the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation in London.

 

Using watercolour, ZeZe thinks about the subjects she wants to paint before creating an atmosphere that best represents it.
